ABOUT NESA UNIZIK.
Nigerian Economics Students Association(NESA) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University(Unizik), Awka is the student association that all students of the department of Economics in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (Unizik) belong to, and the umbrella body that caters for their welfare, growth and student support.
NESA NAU is essentially Nnamdi Azikiwe University's chapter and extension of the NESA national body (a student body of the Nigerian Economics Society), which is an umbrella for all Economics students in Nigeria with over 120,000 members drawn from 83 universities across the country. At the core of NESA is a group of students and youths who believe in the New Nigeria project, thus challenging ourselves to promote national integration, growth and developmental enterprise, and utilize every opportunity to make meaningful contributions that will enhance the peace and progress of our dear country and, the world at large.

To provide a cutting edge platform for equipping members with needed skills and information to tackle contemporary challenges.
Our Mission is borne out of the findings that solutions are better reached under co-operation, collaborative brainstorming and unity. Thus, at NESA, we are looking at building a student association that is an engine for evolving solutions to societal woes and many economic problems plaguing our country. In the nearest future, it is our mission to become the foremost student association in Nigeria, leading the charge for societal change across Africa.

To be a body of globally recognized Economics students' association equipped academically, socially and mentally to support institutional dynamism and economic development on the continent.

POLICY ANALYSIS & RESEARCH FORUM (PAREF).
In pursuit of academic excellence and human capital development, the Policy Analysis and Research Forum(PAREF) is equipping young Nigerian economics students with the art of research in related career pathS by creating a facilitating environment which gives students the platform to make and present their research findings under the auspice of experts in related area of research discipline. PAREF sessions holds once a week every Wednesday by 2pm Nigerian time.
